Babcock Ranch fencing
Babcock Ranch is a planned town of about 17,000 acres spanning Charlotte and Lee counties, with some of the most specific fence guidelines in Southwest Florida. Wood, chain link and wire fences aren't allowed, styles and heights depend on where the fence sits on your lot, and every fence needs Founder's Review Committee approval after your neighborhood HOA signs off.
We install the exact styles the guidelines call for and give you the drawings and specs your sub-HOA and the Founder's Review Committee need, so your request goes in right the first time.
Fence types
The HOA Fencing Guidelines set the style by location. Here's what we install:
72 inches total, 60 inches solid with 12 inches of lattice. Not allowed on lake lots or rear yards that face arterial roads.

48-inch, 3-rail flat-top aluminum in bronze or black for lake and wetland views and yards facing arterial roads.

On alley-loaded homes only: 36 inches, in white PVC or black or bronze aluminum.

Fences must fully enclose the yard and include a 60-inch gate.

Some neighborhoods are stricter. TerraWalk, for example, allows only bronze aluminum up to 48 inches. We check your sub-HOA's rules before we quote.

Permits
A Babcock Ranch fence goes through three steps:
Your sub-HOA reviews the request first. You submit it; we give you the drawings and specs it asks for.
Next, the Founder's Review Committee reviews it, with a $50 fee. Fences must also comply with the Babcock overlay zoning.
Once approved, we pull the permit. On the Charlotte County side, Babcock overlay properties get additional zoning review.
We know the guidelines well, which keeps resubmissions to a minimum.
Built to last
New homes deserve a fence that matches the build quality.
Every post goes deep in concrete for the height of your fence, ready for storm season.
As the guidelines require, the finished side faces out.
