Collier County · Golden Gate Estates
Perimeter, privacy and livestock fencing for Golden Gate Estates acreage. We build fences that keep animals in and predators out, handle the Collier County permit, and back every job with a 2-year workmanship warranty.
Golden Gate Estates fencing
Golden Gate Estates is zoned Estates, with large lots, wells and septic systems, and room for animals. The county allows up to two hoofed animals per acre, with animal enclosures kept at least 30 feet from lot lines and 100 feet from a neighbor's home.
It's also wild country. Wildlife officials have urged residents east of Collier Boulevard to protect pets and livestock from panthers, bobcats and coyotes, and black bears are regularly seen in the Estates. A good fence here does a lot more than mark the property line.
Fence types
Most Estates owners combine a perimeter fence with privacy or enclosures closer to the house.
The most cost-effective way to enclose a large tract, set tight to the ground to help keep animals in and predators out.

Permits
Golden Gate Estates is unincorporated Collier County, so fences go through the county's Growth Management portal.
The application needs a site plan with the fence location, gates, height and materials. Fences must be at least 5 feet from your septic system.
Since July 2026, some single-family fences under $7,500 can get a letter of exemption instead of a full permit, except pool barriers and properties in a flood hazard area.
Enclosures for hoofed animals must be at least 30 feet from lot lines and 100 feet from a neighboring home.
We lay out your fence around your septic, well and setbacks, and handle the permit or exemption.
Life in the Estates
Long runs, soft ground and wildlife pressure all affect how a fence should be built out here.
We keep the bottom of the fence close to grade to discourage digging and slipping under.
Every post is set deep in concrete for the height of your fence, even on long runs.
Wide, well-braced gates for equipment, trailers and daily use.
