Collier County fence installation
Collier County ranges from salt-air coastal neighborhoods to wide-open acreage. A pool fence on Marco Island, a privacy fence in a North Naples community and a livestock fence in Golden Gate Estates each need a different material, a different design and sometimes a different permit office.
The City of Naples and the City of Marco Island issue their own permits. Everywhere else, including North Naples, East Naples, Golden Gate, Ave Maria and Immokalee, goes through Collier County's Growth Management department. We know the difference and handle it for you.
Fence types
Match the fence to the setting, from beachside to backcountry.
The coastal favorite for pools, lanais and canal lots. It resists salt air and keeps the view open.

Permits
Three offices issue fence permits in Collier County. Here's how they differ:
Permits go through the Growth Management portal with a site plan. Fences must be at least 5 feet from a septic system. Since July 2026, some single-family fences under $7,500 qualify for a letter of exemption, except pool barriers and homes in flood hazard areas.
Its own online portal. Short runs under 50 feet don't need a permit unless they're part of a pool barrier. Front-yard fences outside the building envelope are limited to 3 feet, and no chain link in front yards.
Its own permit office. Fences in required yards are limited to 6 feet, many lots have deed restrictions, and equipment must stay clear of burrowing owl and gopher tortoise burrows.
We work out which rules apply to your property, prepare the paperwork and pull the permit or exemption for you.
Coastal and rural
Irma made landfall on Marco Island in 2017, Ian caused about $2.2 billion in damage across the county in 2022, and Milton followed in 2024.
Near the coast, powder-coated aluminum and vinyl outlast steel and untreated wood.
In the Estates, we build tight-to-the-ground fencing that helps protect pets and livestock from predators.
Every post is set deep in concrete for the height of your fence, ready for storm season.
