What is the process to get a fence installation done?
We collect deposit, then apply for permit, wait for HOA approval, request underground public utilities to be marked by Sunshine811, and finally schedule installation.
How soon can my fence be installed?
Any standard job can average between four and six – eight weeks. There are some occasions where shortages do occur but your sales rep would notify you of the average time frame during your consultation.
What type of material do you use?
Sunstate Fence uses the highest quality material For all our products along with being manufactured in the United States.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. Our discount for veterans applies to the installation service. We also offer better prices for fence contractors that buy materials in bulk. Contact a sales associate for more details.
Do I need to pull permits?
Sunstate Fence will help pull permits if the city or county requires them.
Who takes care of locating public utilities?
We call Sunshine 811 before any job that we install to check the underground county/city owned utilities. We are not responsible for locating privately owned utilities such as sprinklers.
Do I need to be present while the crew is working?
In most cases, it is not necessary for you to be present but if you would like to be home we have no problem with that.
Are you licensed bonded and insured?
Yes, we are licensed, bonded, and insured for your protection we meet or exceed requirements for both residential and commercial installations. Documents are available upon request.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we do offer financing 6, 12, or 18 months available through Wells Fargo with approved credit.
Will you tear down/remove my current fence?
If you are replacing an existing fence, our professional estimator can quote you the removal and disposal of your current fence.
Do I need a survey?
We do require a survey for any estimate and installation, typically most owners have it in their closing documents.
I live in a community with a homeowners association (HOA). Are there rules I need to follow?
Most HOA’s will have fence guidelines in their bylaws. HOA approval is required typically before installation.
Do you install your posts with concrete?
Yes, we pour one bag per post plus reinforce the gate hinge post with An aluminum stiffener.
What is the benefit of installing a vinyl fence?
Vinyl fences are low maintenance, do not warp, bow or crack and come with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.
Is it possible to order a custom design?
Yes you can. Our fence experts can help you with designing your perfect fence.
What is the delivery cost?
Each order that requires a delivery will be calculated on various factors with a few exceptions.
Is a deposit needed?
Yes. A deposit is needed for installation service only. Material only needs to be paid in full.
Do you have staff on hand to help with questions?
Yes. Our knowledable staff is available to answer questions by phone or email.
What is the guarantee for your work?
Installation of the fences comes with a 1-year workmanship guarantee.
What is included in the warranty?
Yes. We offer wholesale and retail pricing based on volume.
